About this deal

Turn the brush around and the smooth white plastic rear panel is home to an increasing number of raised grips which are practically placed and functional.

Do not rule the 650 out because of it, you do not have to use this feature, but if you do, just be aware of the conditions of use. The built-in timer in this brush is, in my opinion, a highly underrated feature. It is all too easy to think we have been brushing for longer than we have, as many of us get bored when completing a mundane task like cleaning the teeth. This built-in timer makes it simple. There is no excuse not to achieve the full 2 minutes. Basic brush, seems to do what its meant to - maybe it will break in the not-so-long future, doesnt seem very durable.. Only thing - it does say it is a European plug - not british, but even the type of plug it is meant to be for, it doesn't fit in well. Have to jam it in tight and now I cannot remove it by myself. The Pro 1 electric toothbrush helps you brush like your dentist recommends for 2 minutes with the professional timer and it notifies you every 30 seconds to change the area your are brushing. While you are just moving the brush around your mouth, Oral-B's unique round head does all the rest. It removes up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush for healthier gums, and it starts making your smile whiter as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains. With the professional timer Oral-B Pro 1 is a great toothbrush for everyone who wants to switch to an electric toothbrush. To promote optimal brushing this toothbrush has a pressure control feature installed. If too much pressure is applied, the movement of the brush head will continue but it's pulsation will stop. In addition you will also hear a different sound while brushing. Product Specification Oral-B electric toothbrushes do not have the longest battery life however it is still decent! The battery life is around 28 minutes. This works out at 1 week of use for a single person using it twice a day for the recommended 2 minutes. There is also a power indicator light that flashes green when you are charging it and stops flashing once fully charged. It should take around 16 hours to charge fully which is a fairly long amount of time to charge. The Pro 650 comes with a cross action toothbrush head which is small and maneuverable. It allows good access even to wisdom teeth which are sometimes difficult to reach. The cross action brush head utilises a 16 degree angulation of the toothbrush bristles which allows it to clean close to the gum margin. It is my personal favourite brush head and would recommend it, providing you do not have sensitive teeth or fixed orthodontic braces. Take a look at the lower third of the brush find the battery power icon, above which is a small amount of branding, which is barely noticeable, embossed into the rubber. After spending 12 years in consumer technology, it was in 2014 that he focused his attention on dental health, having experienced first-hand the challenge of choosing a new toothbrush.

There's a Bluetooth toothbrush higher in the product range, if you want a reminder to use it and a chart of usage. You can probably publish your usage on social media but that's not for me. Whilst you have the charging stand, this limited edition Pro 650 also comes with a travel case, which will accommodate the brush and at least one head and protects it from damage and inadvertent activation when in a bag. Another little feature which gives this brush a bit of an edge is the ‘Sound Connectivity’ feature.Jon is a leading voice on electric toothbrushes and has been quoted by mainstream media publications for his opinions and expertise.

There are however some areas the electric toothbrush does fall short. As a result of the cheaper price, the Oral-B Pro 650 does not come with a pressure sensor which is present on the Pro 2 -2000 or even Pro 2 -2500. This is critical to prevent you from pressing too hard with the toothbrush. It is also missing out on Bluetooth connectivity to Oral-B’s smartphone app and multiple cleaning modes including sensitive and Tongue Cleaning. 2) Mechanism of action – Oral-B Pro 650 review 3D Oscillating rotating The slim handle is grippy, the cleaning results are good and the 1 cleaning mode ensures it is no more complicated than it needs to be.

Never been a fan of electric toothbrushes but this time around a convert, overall a better clean, just got to get use to using it. Oral b seem abit vague on the exact differences of the range, speed/modes etc. The 600 range is a good entry level, cross action brush can seem abit harsh, seperately bought sensitive brush is a good alternative. The pro2 2000 range is better, much smoother with the same cross action brush and if you can get it on a deal, def the one to go for and recommmeded as a minimum standard by my hygienist. Now though at least the 5 of us actually look forward to brushing, which was the idea. These good for kids 3+ to adult, and replacement heads cheap on the Bay. Teeth feel and are visibly shiny. Does take 22 hours to charge from flat battery, but it does tell you when battery low so that's fair enough. Yes you can use this electric toothbrush on crowns, bridge, implants any dental restoration. It should be no more harmful to these restorations than a manual toothbrush. Oral-B Pro 650 Summary
